A gorgeous pair of earrings from the Victorian revival (ca1940s) era! Crafted in 14kt yellow gold, these earrings begin with?a lovely gold surmount featuring three flowers and a twisted border. Hanging below is a decorative sphere?with a?fantastic enameled pattern of white tulips and red roses atop a black background. The spheres have wonderful Etruscan style detail and are finished?by a smaller golden ball. Simple gold wires secure the earrings. They are a very unique pair?and?would make a great addition to any enamel collection!
Measurements:?The earrings hang approximately 1 3/8" long including the earring wire. The surmount measures slightly less than 13/32" in diameter, and the sphere is?slightly more than?13/32" in diameter.
Condition:?The earrings are in excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. The enameling is in good condition. The earring wires are secure.
