A stunning garnet and diamond ring from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This lovely piece is crafted in 15kt yellow gold and features a vibrant garnet at the center framed by two diamonds on either side. The garnet cabochon displays a deep, rich shade of cherry red, and weighs approximately 0.80ct. Both diamonds are old Mine Cut stones, weighing approximately 0.25ct each, and displaying approximate J range color and VS range clarity. All three stones are set within an ornate, high-prong setting which allows an encircling open channel to be visible from every angle. The gold band has a twisted design at either shoulder and graduates towards the back, completing the look perfectly. This incredibly beautiful piece would be a lovely addition to any jewelry collection, or it could make a unique gemstone engagement ring!
