Back in the days of the temple, the Menorah Silver Plated was a seven-branched lampstand that was used in Jerusalem's temple. It was made of pure gold, as described in the Bible. Set up by Moses and used as a portable lamp until it was placed in the temple. The purest olive oil was used to light the branches of the menorah.
Carvings in the shape of the Silver Plated Candle have been discovered in archeological sites dating from the first century to after the fall of the second temple. Because there was no electricity at the period, the Menorah provided light from sunset to dawn every day. Using fresh, unadulterated olive oil.
- The Menorah symbolizes universal enlightenment.
- In the Talmud, the Menorah is related to the miracle of light.
- The Menorah is also associated with the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah.
